Kind of funny, because the saying goes, “What you see is what you get!” Well, I asked myself if this is really true when it comes to dealing with others that I come in contact with. This contact includes family, friends, associates, co-workers and any other individuals that I have had or will have some type of contact with. Then I realized that until someone proves otherwise, what you see is really what you get from that individual.
However, I then asked myself if what I see is really what I give. Yes, I wrote give and not get. It was not a typed error. When individuals see me what am I really giving? When individuals see you what are you really giving? Are they truly seeing that what is on the inside of you is visible on the outside? I mean a lot of individuals are worried about how they look, physically only, but what about what is inside, spiritually, mentally and emotionally? While it does take a certain amount of commitment to keep up a physical appearance for most individuals, do not even be fooled by that outside display.
A lot of individuals look good, but like anything that is good, too much of a good thing can be bad for you. Looks are truly deceiving and beauty, which also means the term handsome, is vain and does not last forever. What is inside an individual, their integrity, honesty, personality, trust, emotional make up and most importantly spirit, is what you should really want to see. This will let you know without a doubt what they are giving. Remember blind individuals can see and they are more true to giving then sighted individuals.
So start taking a look at yourself and see if what you see is really what you are giving. Do not waste time making this assessment of anyone else until you have done this to and for yourself. If you truly see that what you are giving is not what is being seen, then begin that transformation. Do not be fooled that that transformation can happen just through you, you need to call on your higher power, whomever that may be for you. For me it is the Lord, no transformation or revelation can even penetrate my temple without Him.
Start letting others see what you are really giving not what you think they get!
